Hololens augmented reality inspection

Objective & context

AKKA worked with major manufacturers to develop tools and user support to perform final aircraft inspection on FAL A350 with HOLOLENS mixed reality glasses which lead the deployment of all major final inspection on green aircrafts and autonomous inspection teams on workstations.

Realizations

What AKKA realized:

• Development and deployment of multiple applications (inspections management, report visualization…)
• Convert information from Standard Operating Instruction in a data structure usable by Hololens

NLG final inspection running on production with the implementation of multiple final inspections on Hololens

• Training implementation at Training Center for the use of Hololens and inspection application

Added value & customer benefits

AKKA worked on the association of IT tools and client support to improve the work efficiency thanks to a 100% robust and standardized inspection on all workstations. We also worked on the instant recording of results, audio messages and photos help for instructions transition, the non-conformities and technical assistance on controls draft and save time and breakdowns management.
