Wind Tower internals design

Objective & context

To achieve such goals the tower’s internals design must guarantee workers’ safety during construction and maintenance labors. Besides, parts have to be designed according to the current standards and should take into account manufacturing and construction costs.

Realizations

AKKA was chosen since 2009 to define the tower internals according to client´s requirements with 3D parts design and 3D tower assembly and also, 2D design of manufacturing drawings.

To deliver the best solution we worked on the stress analysis of internal components such as working platforms, service ladders, beams, etc. and we developed new internal components with stress support of the tower’s transport tools.
