After having worked for 11 for renowned manufacturers and as entrepreneur, Mr. ABBES joined the “Sales and Operations” Business Unit of AKKA group in 2012 to manage the competency center on process engineering. He integrated the Group entity in China as VP in charge of Automotive sector before being nominated as CEO of the Chinese Business Unit. Since July 2019, Mr. ABBES has been promoted as CEO Asia Middle East and oversees the strategy and development of AKKA Group in the region.
David joined the team in April 2019 as HRBP Manager and got promoted as COO in January 2020. Prior to this position, he worked during 2 years as the Special Assistant to the Group Chief HR Officer at the group HQ, based in Brussels. A graduate from the London School of Economics, David held a HR Generalist position in Oracle France and acquired a strong experience in recruitment in an executive headhunting firm in Paris.
Jiarong joined the company in 2001. Since then, he has seen the evolution of the business unit in China. He is part of the management team of AKKA China.
CFO Asia & Middle East
Antoine has a Finance master degree from Kedge Business School. After starting his career for a global automotive supplier in Brazil and Ireland, Antoine joined AKKA Technologies in 2016, and in the scope of its duties has worked successively in France, Brazil, Italy, Morocco, Switzerland and Canada. He recently held the responsibility of the Controlling for the European perimeter. Antoine has been appointed CFO for Asia & Middle East in 2020, and is managing the financial operations for the UAE, Qatar, Singapore, China and Russia.
Rill joined the team in Aug 2011, and currently works as HR Manager of AKKA China. During the past 10 years, she has been responsible for different functions, incl. Business Development, Project Procurement, Quality Management System and as project consultant served Daimler in 2014 – 2015. Rill graduated from Nanchang University and gained PMP certificate in 2014.

— Local OEM EE Development & Engineering
A local top 5 Chinese OEM needed to develop a limousine vehicle platform. Our proposal of vehicle platform was chosen because it satisfies market demand and offer relevant requirements both at home and on the road for the next 5 years, optimizing the total cost of EE systems in various configuration. AKKA provided engineering and consulting services for the design, development and tests of EE systems for this work package (fixed price) project.
A multicultural project team combined with local Chinese project managers worked on this project during a period of three and a half years since 2012.
— Optimization of vehicle development process for a main local OEM
A local OEM wanted to create a a vehicle development process to fit its client’s current and ongoing strategy. We included a project management system, provided methodology and tools for future project management. The initiative focused on the development process, providing a solid foundation to continuously improve the client’s development competencies.
— German OEM: Door Development Project
A German manufacturer was seeking opportunities to develop a design team in China focused on body and trim. Since then, our team in China has been coordinating with the manufacturer’s main team and body, interior, exterior, vehicle integration and other relevant departments, focusing on door mechanics, door sealing, door trim panels and door BIW over the last three years.
