Who you are and your role at AKKA?
I’m Eliana and I’m a Junior Consultant in Akka Automotive for one year. I started my experience in AKKA with training about Functional Safety for the Automotive industry.
After two months, my BM proposed me as Project Safety Leader for one of AKKA’s clients.
In my job, I manage and monitor the activities required by ISO 26262 throughout the product development life cycle, from design to production. The Functional Safety for road vehicles concerns electrical/electronic systems and my goal is to guarantee product safety for the final user.
Your background
I received my MSc degree in Clinical Engineering from the University of Trieste in December 2009.
During my studies, I was able to deepen aspects concerning the management of healthcare systems, both from a technical and economic point of view, to ensure effective and efficient performance, also following the regulations in force and optimizing the use of available resources.
Why AKKA offering is unique for our clients?

How would you describe your experience at AKKA? (Challenging projects; the team; achievements; mobility etc.)
I’m learning a lot both from a professional and a human point of view.
Thanks to my team, the learning opportunities and to the role I with my client, I am becoming more and more aware of my potential.
Dynamism, versatility, authority, ability to face unexpected problems: these are only some of the skills that I’ve discovered and I’m putting into play to fulfill my role. In my opinion, the most important skill that I’m acquiring is the ability to manage customer relationships.
The first step, for me, was to know better and better the client, understanding his processes, organizational structures, and, above all, his needs to the end of optimizing the relations and communications. In this way we can facilitate the working activities, maximizing effectiveness and efficiency.
In my role as Project Safety Leader, good communication is a key factor for creating a network between the various people involved with the project and enhancing each actor according to their skills.
