You have a passion for engineering and business and you are looking for the next step in your career, to combine your sales and account management skills. Next to this, you are also interested in people management. Join our team as Junior Business Manager and you will be coached to professionalize your skills to eventually lead your own team of consultants. Keep on reading for more information!

AKKA in Belgium has been present in the market for several years. We work closely with international industrial clients.

What about the project?

As Junior Business Manager working for AKKA Technologies, you will be assisting in developing a unit within our company to extend our business in Belgium.

 

As Business Manager M/F, your job will have 3 main aspects:

-      You will manage a small team of consultants working with your clients:

o    You will be responsible for the development and account management of a portfolio of clients;

o   You will be their key communication point, thus attending to their needs by providing offers in relation to their competencies, as well as their yearly evaluation, and so on.

-      You will be responsible for both account management of existing clients as well as business development:

o   Contact prospects for qualification;

o   Attend important multiple industry sector events;

o   Establish professional relationships with Higher Management and Executives;

o   Acquire new customers;

o   Focus on project selling;

o   Execute the full sales cycle from cold lead to won;

o   Work closely together with the Bid team;

o   Negotiate proposals with the customers.

-      You will recruit new engineer consultants for your accounts:

o   Whenever necessary you will be supported by our Talent Acquisition team.

Profile

We are looking for talented people with these capabilities:

• Master degree or equivalent in line with this position;

• Commercial background and Entrepreneurial spirit;

• Abilities as a decision-maker;

• A hands-on and humane attitude in generating business engineering leads;

• Intellectual curiosity about innovation and new technologies;

• The facility in communicating fluently within the Belgian market (French and English OR Dutch and English);

• Solutions mindset to develop customer satisfaction;

• Willingness to cultivate collaboration;

• Success attitude and sense of achievement.
