• Design, validate, and optimize chassis structural parts like main frame, subframe, swing arm, handlebar, sheet metal/ cast mounting brackets for suspension, brakes, drivetrain, wheels, and tyres etc.

• Design and optimise for Quality, Cost, Delivery targets and ensure QCD targets are met for the chassis frame design.

• Perform reviews and recommend changes – design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA), design for six sigma (DFSS).

• Perform DFMEA for structural. Contribute to vehicle assembly level DFMEA from frame structure aspect. Mitigate risks in subsequent designs as per DFMEA.

• Develop the simulation and testing DVPs with respective teams for chassis structural parts.

• Interpreting the outcomes of simulations and testing for improvement in designs.

• Work with cross functional teams including simulations, program, production, testing, manufacturing engineering, suppliers, etc.
  on development of chassis structural parts.

•  

  Product data management as per IATF 16949.

• Develop and update the Design Standard documents.

• Document the lessons learnt and manage the knowledge base.

• experience in chassis frame engineering in 2W or 3W automobiles

• Understanding on vehicle dynamics and static load parameters.

• Proficient in hand calculation on static as well as fatigue condition for all loading parts with respect to strength, stiffness, and weight.

• Expert in Fusion 360

• Engineering Materials and their applications

• Knowledge of GD&T, stack tolerance and fit analysis
