In the frame of our mechanical engineering activities dedicated to aeronautic sector, AKKODIS Group is looking for a FDT Stress Leader Engineer for its Blagnac Agency.

Integrated in de Mechanical Product Engineering division “MPE”, you will be under the responsibility of the Head of Mechanical Stress Analyses department. You will join an international project team and more specifically the stress team dedicated to support our customer for transverse stress activities.

You will manage technically the FDT stress team and will be the interface concerning the following activities that you need to master:

- Finite Element Model use (GFEM, DFEM, …

- Extraction of data/results from GFEM / DFEM and associated FEA

- Create / modify a GFEM / DFEM is a plus

- Perform FDT analysis / sensitivity studies / spectra creation

- Fatigue life assessment

- Crack propagation assessment

- Definition of fatigue spectra based on in service data, …

- Definition of methods, process, directives

- Aeronautical FDT methods and processes

- Prepare stress documents (stress presentation, stress report, guideline, directives, approval sheet, …)

- Knowledge in static is a plus

Ideal candidate must hold an engineering degree specialized in mechanical engineering and meet following requirements:

- 15+ years of experience with significant experience in technical management and customer interface

- Leadership skills

- Strong working knowledge of civil aircraft regulations

- Good written and verbal communication skills in English (French is a plus)

- Ability to work in a multicultural context and under limited supervision

- Tools: ALTAIR suite, ABAQUS, NASTRAN, PYTHON, SKYWISE, Fatigue Digital  Twin, ISAMI …
