As an expert tester you will be part of the transversal test team.

You will be part of the integration and acceptance test team. Your role is to create test cases, execute them and report on defects.  You are testing both the current ticketing solutions and the future evolutions by participating in the test campaigns.

You can have punctually more responsibilities during the test campaign including creation of test plans, coordination of the test activities (including user acceptance), report on progress weekly, coach less experimented testers, take part in decision processes, occasional handling of production incidents.

Main tasks:

Requirement / user story analysis
Creation of test plans
Reporting on progress and defects
Creation, Refactoring or Maintenance of test case libraries
Participate in the estimation of the testing effort
Execute test cases
Evaluate the outcome of the test cases
Defect reporting including assessment of priority, severity and business impact
Support development teams in reproducing defect as well as confirming correction is done
Participate in the creation and sharing of the knowledge library (wiki, documents, trainings..)
Coordinate test activities at release level (strategy, test plan, reporting, ..) (punctual)
Possibly coach less experimented testers

- Bachelor's Degree IT

- ISTQB foundation

- knowledge public transport ticketing systems

- knowledge ticketing systems- Knowledge of the agile/scrum methodologies

- knowledge of the atlassian tools (like JIRA)

- knowledge of testlink is a plus

- hardware and software testing

- French, Dutch, English (documentation in English or French)

- Able to take initiative, and a can-do attitude

- Excellent communication and social skills and a team player attitude
