We are waiting for you! From AKKODIS Spain we are looking for a HSE ENGINEER to work in MADRID with one of the main international companies in the INDUSTRIAL sector.

Functions:

• Preparation and review of technical safety and environmental related products, including but not limited to HSE management plans, HSE philosophies and specifications, studies and reviews, HAZOP management and review, SIL determination, hazardous area classification, Consequence analysis, BAT/ALARP studies, QRA, FESA, COMAH, noise specification, noise report management, emission modelling report, flare assessment (distances, emissions and radiation), HSE action monitoring management, impact and emission calculations and safety equipment specification.
• Participate in numerous workshops as Safety and Environmental Technical Engineer to advise on technical aspects related to safety in HAZOP, HAZID, 3D model review, HFE review, construction HAZID, etc.
• Ensure compliance with international and country-specific legal requirements.
• Facilitating HAZOP, HAZID, SIL determination, ALARP and ERP workshops, among others.
• Carrying out radiation and scattering modelling using Flaresim software (or any similar software) and review of the simulations, analysis and use.
• Review interdisciplinary documents.
• Monitor man-hour budget and prepare weekly work plan and update project progress.
• Ensure compliance with the timetable and delivery dates with high quality of deliverables and actions.
• Prepare specifications, RFI/RFP and TBE for technical security elements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Certificate of English B2/C1
• Experience with any ADNOC/ARAMCO/QATAR standards
• Possess a minimum of 6 years of work experience as a Technical Safety Specialist and demonstrate experience in EPC or Engineering companies.
• Significant experience in engineering design of oil and gas facilities.
• Ability to work on a project with minimal supervision.
• Experience in onshore/offshore installations and brownfield projects is an asset.
• Effective communicator able to influence key stakeholders
• Sound knowledge of hazardous area classification, SCE/PS, EERA, FERA and other loss prevention analysis and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of technical safety design standards such as NFPA, EPA, NIOSH, IP, ISO, ASME, API, etc. Additional knowledge of Russian regulations would be an asset.
