The Role:
The Quality/Methods Engineer is responsible for defining and enforcing standards, methods and procedures to improve the study, development and deployment phases of projects.
He/she will also ensure the harmonization of in-house software at the client's two sites.
Given the financial stakes and the evolution of user practices, customers are increasingly demanding in terms of the quality of IT services. This requirement is even more demanding in sectors such as aeronautics, aerospace, etc.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Write documentary supports (development methods, test procedures, etc.) and distribute them to users. In this context, the quality and methods manager can provide training.
- Raise awareness and convince users of the need to apply and respect quality procedures.
- Participate in change management, particularly through training in quality methods.
- Carry out test programs to verify that procedures are properly applied.
- Carry out audits of organizations and project management methods.
- Analyze dysfunctions, traceability problems, margins for improvement of services or processes with a view to reducing costs and deadlines while guaranteeing the satisfaction of internal or external customers.
Profile
Your Profile:
- Engineering degree in computer science: IUP computer science, master's degree in computer science supplemented if possible by quality training
- Experience of at least 5 years is required for this position.
- Mastery of development methods and standards
- Knowledge of project management techniques.
- Good knowledge of the software engineering field (reusable object components in rapid development)
- Knowledge of quality standards (e.g. ISO, ITIL, CMMi, CobiT))
