With a view to strengthening our team, we are looking for a:

Model Based Design Engineer - Medical Devices

The resource will operate in R&D within the Medical Devices Business Unit and will be accountable for the system integration between hardware and software.

The main tasks will be:

• Simulation with MATLAB / Simulink 
• Development of control algorithms 
• Evaluation and definition of the interfaces between the components
• Create requirements specifications for the System, Software, Interfaces
• Consolidate internal functional and safety requirements
• Plan and execute function and application testing on HIL
• Control functions improvement (or new development) based on any research project (model Base Design, C Code, Rapid prototyping, …)
  
  

The ideal candidate has a Degree in Engineering (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of experience in model based designed or HWSW in the loop testing. Geographical mobility is required at national and international level. Knowledge of the English language is required.

Requirements

• Model Based Design
• Simulation with MATLAB / Simulink
• Experience in Software Testing using hardware-In-the-loop and/or software-in-the-loop
• Development of control algorithms 
• Experience in SW debugging and usage of emulators and debuggers
• Knowledge of C/C++ Programming
• Experience in testing tools (CANalyzer)
• Knowledge of test automation using Python / Perl / CAPL Scripting
