Job description

·        You are a leading “face to the customer”

·        Manage a staff of around 30-60 engineers.

·        Start up with a new office Location in Hungary.

·        Recruiting, coaching, supervising.

·        Reporting – (Daily, weekly, monthly) internally and to the Customer

·        Report and escalate to customer and AKKA management as needed

·        Perform a wide variety of tasks associated with this leadership role.

·        Coordination work packages - Lead and direct the work of team leaders, engineers

·        Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

·        Ensure that all tickets are solved on-time, within scope and within budget

·        Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

·        Ensure resource availability and allocation

·        Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

·        Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

·        Perform risk management to minimize project risks

·        Delegate project tasks to the appropriate team.

·        Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.

·        Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.

·        Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.

·        Plan and track project budgets

·        Take responsibility for documenting and presenting project status and results to the client


·        Successfully completed studies in vehicle technology, mechanical engineering with a focus on combustion engines, vehicle electronics or equivalent work experience.

·        Extensive professional experience in the field of mechanical development for engines  

·        Specific know-how in testing internal combustion engines

·        Several years of experience in project management, such as milestone planning and tracking / reaching quality milestones in the development phases.

·        You enjoy being responsible and leading employees

·        Skilled in client-facing and internal communication

·        Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and/or German

·        Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

·        Independent hard work and communication within the team are both important

·        Experience in hardware development of e-drive components such as batteries and e-drives is also a plus.
