We are looking for an experienced Software developer who would support and assist our client projects.

The main responsibilities are:                                    

• Software development and bug fixing in Matlab
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing servers
• Creating guides and know-hows
• Defining software development related processes
• Training colleagues
• Creating and managing Jenkins jobs
• Work within the Atlassian toolchain
• Developing the test environment and framework in Matlab and in Groovy.
• Writing batch scripts for various purposes
• Supporting colleagues during their daily work in topics related to the development environment

The ideal candidate has:

• Working proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the field
• Completed studies in the field of computer science, business informatics or completed vocational training as an IT specialist/mechatronics engineer (m/f/d) with corresponding additional qualification

Technical knowledge:

• C, C++
• Atlassian toolchain (eg. Jira, Bitbucket)
• Matlab
• Jira
• Batch-script
• Linux
• Thorough knowledge of the Git version tracking system
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles
• Knowledge of agile methodology
• DevOps related knowledge:
  • Jenkins
  • Groovy script

Place of work: Mainly remote, the office  based in 18th district, Budapest
