Location: Canton of Neuchatel
Contract: Permanent with AKKA Switzerland
Starting date: March / April
Languages: Fluent in English and French, German is a plus
Mission :
Assure the production continuity, supporting the Supplier quality engineer in the day by day criticality and analysis & act to respect the project roadmap (requirement and program review, supplier’s process and product qualification)
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Lead the sourcing process in the product qualification phase
- Interact with R&D and MT to find a supplier process which meets product and industrialization requirements
- Drive the review with supplier (PCB assembly, AOl, ICT, integration and the associated tooling)
- Validate supplier manufacturing test plan (ICT, integration, tests) and define the control level internally and at the supplier site
- Define the purchasing specification and requirement for the outsourcing
- Establish with the suppliers an interaction able to guarantee a competitive and long-term relationship
- Act proactively with the other departments, having always clear the milestone of a project
- Perform supplier Audit
- Support plant on a daily basis on purchased components and supplier quality concerns
- Search for more robust and reliable technical and technological solution
- Interact with Purchasers, R&D/SQE/MT/Incoming inspection and Supplier
Profil
Your Profile:
- University degree or equivalent in the electronics manufacturing field
- Experience from international sourcing, >2 years in electronics manufacturing field
- Knowledge in design to cost
- Very good knowledge of electronics production and test technologies (PCB assembly, AOl, integration and the associated tooling)
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand technical issues and propose practical and cost effective solution (e .g managing obsolescence, defects on sub-contracted parts)
- Good and reliable communicator both verbally and in writing
- Cross-functional / cultural team player
- Passion for driving continuous improvements
