Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creation and implementation of modular concepts for the safeguarding of ECU software on HIL test benches
- Quality assurance and management of software projects for automotive embedded software in close consultation with the worldwide development sites of the AKKA Group
- Design, implementation and automation of modular test cases for ECUs
- Creation of models for the simulation of sensors and ECUs on HIL test benches
- Close cooperation with the software development, test and validation experts within the worldwide AKKA Group.

- Junior SW Tester | 0 - 3 years
- Test Engineer | 3 - 6 years
- Senior Test Engineer | 7+ years
- Test Manager | | 3 - 6 years

Basic Skills:
- Test case generation derived from requirement
- Test case review
- Basic C language knowledge
- Basic Python / scripting language knowledge
- V model / A-SPICE / testing processes
- ISTQB knowledge and certificate (optional)
- Testing processes
- JIRA ticketing
- ALM tool experience (Polarion, DOORS)
- Bus systems & protocols / Interfaces CAN, LIN, SPI, UART, I2C (MOST, FlexRay or IP/Ethernet)
- Basic UDS knowledge

Profile
- Completed studies in technical computer science, electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics or corresponding professional experience.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop simulators or test systems from e.g. Vector, dSpace, NI or ETAS advantageous
- Experience with test automation software (ECU test)
- Knowledge in the field of battery management or high-voltage systems would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of electrical engineering (sensors, control units) and software development for embedded systems (C, C++, Python)
- Good knowledge of automotive bus systems (CAN, LIN,) and communication protocols
