AKKA is present in North America since March 2010. After more than 10 years of successful growth in Quebec (in the Aerospace, Railway, and Automotive sectors), we extend our presence in Canada; We opened an office in Toronto on September 1st, 2020. The focus is primarily given to the Railway sector, since AKKA’s long standing customers are present in Ontario: Thalès, Alstom, Bombardier Transportation….

We are looking for a System Engineer, for a long term mandate (24 months).

You need to have 5 years of experience in Railway, including least 3 in the signalling system CBTC (systems design, sub-system, interfaces…).

You also need to have experience in modeling, using tools like ARCADIA or CAPELLA.

Having an INCOSE certification is an asset.

A previous experience working on a Thales project is an asset.

Knowing CENELEC standards is another definitive asset.

You will not write Systems development Requirements, but you will review them and make sure that they are compliant with the applicable standards.

Being fluent in English is obviously mandatory.

Mandate could be started remotely if a work permit is needed, however a relocation in Ontario will be necessary at a certain point.
