AKKA Benelux technological know-how recognized by the government of the Brussels-capital

BRUSSELS – Didier GOSUIN, Minister in the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region in charge of the Economy, Employment, Occupational Training and Health will, on 28 June, tour the offices of AKKA Benelux at Evere to discover the connected, self-driving LINK & GO. This concentrate of technologies is the fruit of collaborative work between the teams of AKKA Group, of which the Benelux subsidiary is a part.

Nicolas VALTILLE, Managing Director of AKKA Group, will welcome Minister Didier GOSUIN and his cabinet. The day’s programme will include a presentation of technological innovations and economic performance as well as examples of the Group’s expertise in the automotive and aeronautics sectors, which will be put to the fore in two of the services centres « Made in Belgium ».

Mobility, connectivity and innovation will be the buzz words in the presentation of the LINK & GO concept car developed by our engineer. A technological showcase of the expertise and know-how of the Group, this smart and environmentally friendly vehicle combines the technologies of the future to resolve the societal, environmental and urban challenges posed by tomorrow’s smart Cities. Thanks to this concept, AKKA teams have won many engineering prizes in both Europe and Asia.

Since the acquisition of MATIS Benelux in 2015, AKKA Benelux has become Belgium’s premier engineering and technology consulting company. With 800 staff, the Benelux subsidiary is an active participant in the Belgian economy and a job generator; in 2016, 150 engineering and management positions are vacant.
