— HVAC For Thermal System
Since 2010, AKKA has been involved in multiple projects aiming at designing and developing complete high-efficiency, low-maintenance and cost-efficient Heating Ventilation Air-Conditioning (HVAC) units for one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers.
This project was the perfect occasion to develop a new concept: mixing recirculated air with outside air thanks to a double layer mixing function. Manufacturing costs were reduced, and operation methods were simplified. Adjusting temperature was made easier, and the sealing efficiency between an air conditioning case and the temperature control door was improved.
— Space Project
Since 2015, AKKA has been working on the development, testing and validation of software for a new generation of satellites. The satellites will be launched in cooperation with the European Space Agency (ESA). A truly transnational project, the cooperation requires a secure and functioning collaborative network across Europe, supporting our consultants based in Romania and in France.
Building on our automotive, railway and aerospace expertise, this exciting space project has enabled us to extend our software development experience into the area of satellite activities while demonstrating a proven competence in managing international engineering projects.
