Graduate in Aerospace Engineering from ESTACA, Management from EM Lyon and more of INSEAD’s Advanced Management Program, Mr. Marande joined AKKA in 2001. He held successive managerial positions in France, the UK and Italy before moving to Dubai in 2010 to develop the new Middle East subsidiary from scratch. As CEO of AKKA Middle East, he has developed activities across the region in aerospace, defense, railway, oil & gas and automotive. Starting with his presentation of Link&Go to Dubai’s Ruler, he has been actively involved in Dubai’s Autonomous Transportation Strategy by organizing the development of a Smart Autonomous Car in the UAE.
Claudie Cichy Felicani
A graduate in business management from Pantheon Assas University in Paris, and currently studying for an EMBA with Cass Business School in London, Claudia has 20 years of experience in Europe and the GCC in financial control and management. She joined AKKA in 2007 to support an acquisition in Paris. In 2008, she moved to Brussels to manage the Finance and Administration department. In 2013, she assumed the role of CFO in the Middle East and more recently took responsibility for the Asian region.
Business Unit Manager
Mehdi has been working for the AKKA Group for almost seven years. After completing a masters degree in industrial engineering (INP ENSIACET), Mehdi joined AKKA France as a consultant in information systems and then was named Business Manager to develop our information systems activities.
Souad has been working for the AKKA Group for almost two years. After completing a double masters degree in management and business administration in Europe, Souad has had ten years of experience in Human Resources in France, mainly in recruitment, training and staff administration.

Aerospace: AKKA Middle East has delivered projects for the UAE suppliers of Airbus & Boeing to support the development of their capabilities. We support local airlines with our expertise in aircraft entry into service and aircraft modification.
Rail: We have been involved in the Dubai Green Line Metro project, Dubai Marina Tram project, Qatar Lusail tram and Doha Metro projects.
Defense: We have provided consultancy to Emirates and Saudi defense and security projects, and we also support the Emirates military vehicle company.

In November 2014, the Dubai Tram was opened as part of the Dubai Transport Network. It runs for 14.5 kilometers and is the first tramway outside Europe powered by a ground-based electric supply system. Eleven AKKA consultants worked on this project, including supervisors, QA/QC engineers, HSE engineers, design installation engineers and project support.

AKKA in the Middle East supports Tawazun Precision Industries (TPI) and B. to develop a new surface treatment capability for aluminum aero structure machined parts. Eleven experts from AKKA’s Middle East team support the project with equipment definition, commissioning, technical guidelines, etc.

A team of 36 experts supports the entry into service of new A380 and A350 aircraft, delivering worldwide expertise in technical processes, equipment maintenance, engineering solutions and flight operation.
